WRITE A TINY REMEMBRANCE FOR THE HOLIDAYS
I stole this from old old lady of the hills I thought that i would also see what kind of stories that everyone could come up with! If your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment here on my blog with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL CHRISTMAS MEMORY of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. And, if you feel like it, when you're finished leaving your comment, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) with the memories people create....(isn't this fun?)Oh my, I can't wait to read what each of you remember

Howdy! Michele sent me!
Lets see.. I'm far from creative.. so lets see what kind of memory I can come up with..
I remember the time we went christmas shopping together. We had spent the day at the mall shopping and shopping. I hate to shop but you of course loving it drug me all over every store in the mall. I was so exhausted.
We went into this lil shop that sold hand made earrings and necklaces. I saw the perfect Necklace. Of course i'm always broke and my card was declined. While I skipped off to the ladies room you went back and bought the necklace for me. What a sweet gesture!
You were so sweet! What a wonderful present it was. I treasure it today! :)

see i'm not real creative but figured i'd give it a whirl..
Hope you ahve a good christmas!
I LOVE that you are doing this one, too...It really is a LOT of fun, as you will see...I am here from Michele tonight..
What I remember most is staying out till 4am on Christmas Eve, riding the Subway ALL night and sipping Margarita's out of that LARGE Flask you had stolen from that GREAT party we went to at Mayor Bloomberg's Manse! We were very drunk, but didn't mind because the two guys with us were watching out for us! Who knew that Keith Ledger and Jake Gyllenthal would take off with us after appearing on Letterman to tout their new movie..."Glad To See You!"...in which WE were both extras in that wonderful scene in the Bar in Coney Island...
You took off your Bra and threw it in the Garbage can, but Jake retrieved it in case you needed it later, and then, remember on the Subway, you gave the Bra to a sweet little old lady who you thought needed it more than you! Oh, remember how we laughed???
That was a GREAT Christmas, wasn't it? And now Jake and Keith are these HUGE Stars!
the one i remember is the christmas when you were ten and your sister was thirteen. your sister and i went under the tree after you had gone to bed and took all of your tags off of your gifts and put her name on them! on christmas morning you cried and cried because you had no gifts. your sister got grounded. i was never implicated until now. sorry!
happy christmas to you!
Surfed over from another blog and this sounds like fun so here we go.
Do you remember that Christmas when we decided at the last minute to hope a flight to Tahiti?
We sat on the beach soaking up the rays and drinkin the drinks with the umbrella's in them. You gave me the best present, I still love that pair of earrings and wear them everyday. That was my best present ever.
I remember the Christmas where you were moving to New Mexico and to get you into the spirit of the move your parents decorated the whole tree with kachina dolls and god's eyes. It looked ridiculous in your colonial home, but you played along.
Oh man, do you remember the time.. oh, this was about six or seven years ago, it was Christmas then too [funny how that works!] and we were at that party.. you know, the party where that really old white lady was sitting next to this really good looking black guy three times younger than her?
You had a mouthful of eggnog when he stood up and introduced her as his girlfriend. You tried so hard not to laugh [or choke] that it flew out of your nose.
Man, that was the funniest damned thing EVER!
